Shelley Klammer's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

I was honoured to be invited to be a featured artist on International Soul Art Day.

How would you describe your creative process?

My intention going into the process was to bring in more light to my current human experience. I felt called to intuitively paint a hand coming from above and a hand coming from below – joining.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

As I was painting, I had the sudden thought that I was painting hands of light. Then, I had a memory arise from 25 years ago. I was working in a new age bookstore, and one day, a book “jumped” off the shelf and landed on my head! The book was called “Hand of Light” by Barbara Brennan. When it fell on my head, I immediately bought the book. Yet at the time, it was light years beyond my understanding. After, my Soul Art process, I pulled the book off my shelf, opened it up, and I now understand it profoundly!

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

Typically, I paint, draw and collage entirely intuitively, to see what wants to be expressed. The Soul Art process as I experienced it offered a wonderful balance between intuition and intention, and I enjoyed the process greatly!
