What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

I love the Soul Art journeys and have been doing them for the past few years; first during my training with Laura and then on my own and leading other women after I completed my certification. I was inspired to do the Soul Art journey because it was a community event lead by Laura and I appreciate being a part of the Soul Art community. As much as I enjoy creating alone, creating and connecting with others and going through this process at the same time has a special kind of energy. It feels like the process is amplified when done and shared with others. I invited my friend to join me and we had an amazing day creating together, sharing our process and insights, and being witnessed by each other.

How would you describe your creative process?

My creative process is 100% intuitive. I trust the creative process like nothing else in my life. For me, it is always about the process not about the outcome, the juiciest insights come through the process.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

The first insight I received was actually during setting my intention. As much as I wanted this intention to be big, bold, and positive, while reflecting and journaling about my current situation, I realized that before reaching out for the “shiny” things I have to deal with the “shitty” things first… So this process for me was about letting go and feeling the grief. While painting, I experienced very strong emotions and could actually touch and then release the grief with tears. The insights at the end of the Soul Art journey were no less profound. I was asked to slow down, to be present for what was showing up and trusting myself, even if I don’t have the answers or the full understanding…

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

Soul Art process never fails to surprise me. It always provides a truly unique experience; rich with insights and astonishing depth.
