Karen Buford's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

Searching for a specific painting style/art community that reflects my ongoing alignment with Source energy.

How would you describe your creative process?

With acrylic and watercolor, I create layers using affirmations and symbols as a powerful background. Then add images that the words inspire. I collage watercolor painted paper to the canvas. Finally I paint thin layers if acrylic over different parts and add paint marker highlights to certain areas.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

How to find my spiritual groove in my paintings. I already have a nice groove for my digital art photography artworks. So I’m super excited to have landed on a style that works to help me be very original in my paintings.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

So positive. I liked the steps we took to get into the vortex/zone. I’m a good writer, but its not my cup if tea. I don’t usually journal unless I’m stressed out. It was nice to use this method when I was feeling excited, and enthusiastic.
