Holly Hildebrand's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

Although I make my living through my creativity I had been feeling stagnant somehow. I had been filling my time with projects for others and distracting myself from the personal creative immersion I needed. I was seeking some insight into how or why this happens.

How would you describe your creative process?

I found the creative process fun and felt like myself playing with paint in my own loose, free way. I also noted that I had some resistance to starting and it took me a while to settle.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

My piece evolved into a Shield – a recurring motif for me. It reminds me to protect my own rich inner world while deflecting negativity and imposing personalities and views from the outside.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

We are all worthy of time invested in ourselves. I need processing time to help me separate my own feelings and desires from the needs and wants of others. The soul art experience allowed me the time and reflective tools to remind me of this.
