Rachel Plumpton's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

I wanted to take time to check in with myself and have some sacred space for me to create and heal. Having a busy household and young children can be tiring and testing and I wanted to give myself some much needed self care through expressing myself and being creative.

How would you describe your creative process?

I actually had a difficult time to begin with. I had stepped out of my heart space and into my head / ego. I took time away from my art, I cried, I let go, I vented, I expressed myself through words and then I returned. I got into the zone of creative process and flow, letting go of expectations or end results and I was in the present moment. Immersed fully and embodying my creatrix self.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

My soul Art birthed a divine portal. ✨️ During the process lots of inner critical thinking, old limiting beliefs and inner childhood wounds about not being enough, not expressing myself fully, feeling silenced and repressed by my own shyness and confidence all came to the forefront. The portal is a message to open myself to possibilities, to divine flow, to fully expressing my authentic self, to speak my truth, to allow myself to be seen and heard. To manifest my dreams withour fear, from a place of love ❤️

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

It proved to be a very deep and emotional experience and I could have easily walked away. But sometimes we have to experience the depths of our hurts, traumas and emotions to seek the inner messages and guidance we most need to move us forward.
