Claudia Kohl's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

It is my anual ritual to do the Soulart journey. Last years was strong and as I am still creating from it, I wanted insight how to finance my artistic career/startup now. The intention is to allow guidance on how to create the means to abundantly express my artistic life.

How would you describe your creative process?

The creative process was joyful yet it felt like an ironman challenge, physically, due to the extreme heatwave in Berlin. Bleeding feed and knees, glue and paints disolving…..

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

The simple insights came immediatly: 1st insight: keep it simple but true. This is guidance on many levels from choosing the right textiles, partners to personal life. 2nd insight: your power is in your hands. Colors and energetic patterns are your gold. Capital. Flow. 3rd insight: balance, dance, flow, take it easy (bubble gum bubble), be bohemian. 4th: move to nature and express your inner richness 5th: find your design family and partners 6th: do not be a sheep and follow but speak your truth, build your clients tribe who loves bohemian strong textiles and nature. 7th: not the financial struggles are true but the new abundance, studio in nature etc. It is all there to be discovered. Then during the night my cat vomited all over my soulart. She was shocked. I was shocked. First I was angry at here. Then I broke down and cried. For so many years here in Germany my creative expression had been destroyed because of financial stupid rules or laws…or so it felt inside. I loved myself dearly for having stood strong but at what cost? So I began to clean my soulart but most had disolved or came undone. So frustrating. I wanted my ‘shine and strength’ back. The strongest insight came that moment: I fix everything. Broken furniture, relationships, soul, body, plants, bank accounts, neighbours, friends, carpets….and no more fixing. What is broken can go. Trust the new. So, I added tassels to the broken art instead of fixing. Tapestry of artistic life.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

Be simple but true and flow. No more systems to be who we are. Be the creators and leaders of the new.
