Cindy Welch's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

I believe that any creative endeavor can connect us with our souls, and the creative process itself can be incredibly healing. Over the years I have seen a real shift in how I approach creativity. I hope one day to be able to guide others into their own healing journeys through intuitive painting.

How would you describe your creative process?

I am a hands-on kind of person. In other words, I have to do it to understand the meaning of it. Pretty much I just follow my gut instincts and go with it, trusting that even if I dislike the outcome, the process has value.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

Yesterday, I actually only had time to varnish a piece I made last week during an intuitive art class on Sacred Geometry. But what that particular piece gave to me was a renewed sense that I am okay right where I am on my path. It is a reminder to me that the phrase “I am enough” is true for everyone around me as well. The words speak to me of grace, understanding, and forgiveness, but above all, love.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

Everyone has the ability to create something. The process of listening to the voice inside our hearts helps us find ways to speak our truth in other areas of our lives as well. When we are creating something from a soul level, we are connecting with the divine source within us like no other time. Whatever you have to do to make room for the creative process, do it. You will never regret that journey.
