Jen Blumenthal's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

This is my 4th year of participating in Soul Art Day. It was so powerful for me the first year, I haven’t missed one since.

How would you describe your creative process?

Inviting myself to let go of all logic and reason, let go of controlling the outcome of the art, and following my intuitive whimsey. Wherever she wants me to go and whatever she wants me to do, I try and do without resistance because that’s when the magic happens.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

It’s from a place of peace that I will be my most authentic and successful self. Success won’t come when I’m full of turmoil.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

I continue to be amazed at how Spirit controls the pace at which my art gets finished. Things will delay me getting my art done so that different events and experiences can take place which then affect my art. This year, I didn’t finish my Soul Art Day project before going out of town to be in a wedding and then coming back to have dental surgery. But those were just divine timing to delay getting my art done for what really needed to occur. The day before I finished my art, we had a Soul Art monthly ritual in the certification program. That ritual caused me great turmoil which I turned around and poured into my art. I needed the experience of that ritual to loosen up all of that stuff that was stuck inside of me in order to express it in my art. It was only after I expressed all of that pain on my art that the healing occurred and I could fully see my art in its full power – that beautiful rainbow channel. Without those synchronistic delays, I wouldn’t have been able to release that old pain into my art or receive the full transmission of the healing that occurred. This kind of stuff happens quite frequently for me with Soul Art and I have learned to trust the process and relax into the timing of how each piece wants to be completed.
