Jennifer Una's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

I have participated in Int’l Soul Art Day for several years. In this piece I wanted to explore feelings around burden and ease.

How would you describe your creative process?

I ususlly start with a strong feeling about a color, an emotional experience, a personal story or place I am drawn to. In this piece, I made a bodymap directly onto a stretched canvas then used acrylic paint to bring it to life.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

My insight was finding that I could choose how much of a “world burden” to carry around and what can be released. That by bringing into dialogue my strongest and weakest “parts” that all are part of the whole. The warmth and vitality of my hands can embrace my armoured heart. (for example)

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

Each year brings me into more and more alignment and spaciousness with my art and life. This year in BodyMapping has unleashed so much courage and confidence simply by building the SoulArt process into my daily life practice.
