Joyful Light. I am a middle school counselor, singer/songwriter, mindfulness teacher and creative being. from United States
What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
I was inspired by my friend Leah Guzman and the idea to look inward and create a piece that reflected my inner-journey with the support of a community.
How would you describe your creative process?
My creative process is a result of the awareness of all the parts that make up who I am. It is also a result of constant reflection through meditation, chanting, reading and connecting with like-minded people. I follow my inner- compass to know when to create and I trust the process and the flow of the moment.
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
This piece showed up during a time where I was over the moon with my calling as a counselor and how I showed up being authentic and the feeling that came with just being me, joyful, creative, authentic and passionate. My piece is a reminder to be open to receive, to trust the process, to shine with my own light. Floating in the water is a reminder to flow with life.
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
The most important aspect of the experience was to create from a place of self-love, self-acceptance,to let go of the judgement and share what ever was coming up for me during the process with the support of a collective energy.
