What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
Art has literally saved my life. I have overcome many many struggles and I am now on my journey to become an art therapist. Im so excited to graduate Chico State University with a BA next May and move on to a 1 year MA program in Social Work. I am 55 and my motto is “Never give up never give in” Depression is real and Im an overcomer that is determined to help others do the same.
How would you describe your creative process?
My creative process is freeing with no boundaries. There is no wrong way to do a pour which allows you to just release negativity into your art and not hold it in. I pour and concentrate on the beauty I see and it is completely calming.
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
It allowed me to participate with many others for a greater purpose of unity through my art. Listening to individuals stories allowed me to not feel alone and have an understanding of each and everyone. I now feel Im headed in the right direction. Thank You.
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
Individuality connected with unity BEAUTIFUL!
