Karin Hedenborg's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

I have been waiting for this almost a year now. When I found Lauras page, I had just missed last years Soul Art Day. It sounded so wounderful to connect with other soul artist around the world and create art and share the experience together. Maybe I wasn’t so alone as I thought I was.

How would you describe your creative process?

Intuitive and healing. I usually start with making a playlist with music that I am drawn to for the moment and then I play the music as loud as possible, the music starts the process. I then start with a blank sheet and first I intuitively feel what colors I want to use in the painting and then I start to paint and everything will fall into place. I know and feel when I’m finished and it usually takes around 2-3 hours. I never go back to change or complement anything in my paintings, they are fulfilled when I’m done with my last brushstroke.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

That it’s time to release my soul. To set it free, let my soul dance, grow wings and fly. To let the wild shewolf inside me to call – to howl out the freedom to the rest of the female pack.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

That we are not alone, together we can make beautiful and wonderful things happen. To share can be healing! We are all unique souls, here on this beautiful planet – Not to compete with each other But to Complete each other!
