Leslie Typrin's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

I decided to really commit to my creative process and accessing a deeper knowing of myself and my soul’s purpose. This felt like what I needed to do as an integral part of really beginning to develop my own creative soul’s expression. I loved that it was part of a larger community of creatives who also were working to a bigger purpose.

How would you describe your creative process?

I am just learning and developing my creative process but I always love to begin with 20 minutes of intuitive writing to access some deeper thoughts and then lately I have been putting on some fun music to just go out in my garage and paint whatever comes up. I am very connected to intuitive painting and the expressing emotions through my painting. It’s like gaining a visible representation of what is in my soul and subconscious.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

I loved realizing that completing the whole creative cycle is something that I haven’t done in the past and that it really is an important part of bringing forth my full soul’s message. My larger than life body map allowed me to witness, appreciate, integrate, and embody many different aspects of myself that I wasn’t aware needed to be visible. My soul art was about me stepping out and becoming fully visible and comfortable in my own creative expression. I became closer to messages about my soul’s purpose and how I may be of service to my community as whole through my art.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

It was a week of a deep dive into myself and my own creative nature. It gave me so many profound insights into how I should balance my energy as I move forward and out into my full visible creative expression. It gave me courage and compassion for myself and this amazing journey I am on. It will be an experience I treasure forever. Thank you.
