Dee MacGibbon's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

I love yoga and I love collaborative art.

How would you describe your creative process?

My creative process expresses itself in all of my life where I am always wanting to move closer to uniting my body (which has a passive voice) and my mind (which is definitely, not passive). My art is mostly about movement. At 67 years I intend to live as someone who is able to live fully open to the full expression of my body and mind.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

I learned that I have a gift for teaching other seniors to heal themselves by bringing together yoga and expressive art.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

I was surprised and a little sad that on Creative Aging Day Laura did not have any senior soul artists in her studio. Surely there must be other Soul Artists over the age of 60.
