What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
We did it for the past two years and had a blast. Any excuse to get the paints out and get creative.
How would you describe your creative process?
Some times I sketch and plan and then dive in with thick vibrant colour, but for this piece I followed the Soul Art guidelines to get started with body parts, and then expand from their imaginatively, and also getting some paint onto my body and using my body as the brush or the instrument and the canvas as well.
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
There’s alot more symbolism that emerges when you allow your self to be imaginative and don’t try so hard to create symbolism
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
My favourite part is seeing what all these amazingly talented soul artists around the world have produced, and also painting and being creative with my daughter is always fun and always special bonding time.
