Caroline Crowin's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

This year, I have been giving myself a lot of time to explore my creative side but hadn’t yet drawn anything . I loved the idea of being guided in the process to start me on my journey.

How would you describe your creative process?

I followed the directions of choosing 2 body parts and felt like I needed to be a little daring so got naked to draw my first image that I posted on the Facebook page just after finishing it, without thinking to much about it appart from the first intention for it.

Than I started drawing the second one (this one) and took until the next day to finish it, feeling compelled to return to it as soon as I got home and “forced” myself to stop for the night. With this one, I’ve felt a lot of healing through witnessing my inner child expressing herself (the symbolism on the image being very child like.)

I’ve been reconnecting with the different aspects of me through various methods but in art form it’s like my inner child needs to express herself first.

I’ve been celebrating her throughout, sending her love and acceptance and look forward to see how others will show me how they want to be acknowledged through this process.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

Adding all those stars and hearts, I felt that I needed to celebrate and than liberate my third chakra. Letting go of expectations of how I should behave and feel and push myself, while acknowledging my feminine characteristics. I felt like I was unknotting and soothing all those tensions in my belly.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

It’s fun and revealing and can be deep and healing. You just have to choose to start and the rest fallows naturally.
