Sherry Andrychuk's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

I did one last year.

How would you describe your creative process?

It was very intuitive ….. It was a deep process….the child within me appeared in the arms of a figure…the limp body of my polio days…..many tears flowed and when the bird appeared, I knew a healing was taking place at a deep level… I have been referred to as the “Dot Lady” over the years as dots are a recurring symbol for me and appear on the paper almost subconsciously…

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

it felt very shamanic ……addressing some shadow aspects and a powerful force of interconnectedness with trees and the birds……nature and animals are my greatest teacher….the color red was significant…..appearing on the hands and the bird’s head ….a woodpecker, it think….it felt very protective of me….and the dots were painted in rhythm like a rythmical message of a woodpecker’s pecking….my own personal drumming event on paper…tee hee

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

It was a healing journey…..I have had a set back with Post Polio…i
