Diane Campbell's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

To show the beauty in me and in what I see every day. I used to see the world as such a dark miserable place and now all I see is perfect sunrises and flowers.

How would you describe your creative process?

I often take inspiration from nature and how it moves me, then try to capture that feeling and the amazing colours in paint.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

The main vibes I got were of powerful and often unique women who do what they want when they want. I aspire to be that one day

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

My piece lonely tree was my very first piece. Despite being stuck on a hill alone I still painted a rainbow backdrop (a very dark rainbow) and the smaller tree sort of sprouted out of nowhere. I think it is very telling of my mental state at the time and sometimes recently – you are never truly alone and a rainbow is just over the horizon!
