Linda Boone's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

It has been in my mind for some time now to connect with my spirit to get back in touch with meaningful art. A friend turned me onto Soul Art Day, I just knew I had to do this! I applied and was accepted. Yay!!

How would you describe your creative process?

My creative process was good but the day was busy and not going as I had hoped. I let the whole thing be until I could really devote myself to it which was today, 6-1-15. This time I did not feel hurried. I was relaxed and focussed. I went out to my backyard this morning and practiced a bit of QiGong and cleared my mind. I called my spirit to come forth and help me to express myself and open myself to receive an answer for my intention which was to love and accept myself fully. I started over but used the same subjects, magazine pictures and my body map. I looked at the pictures and got all new words for them. I wrote a new story. I rolled my paper out on the deck outside and started painting. I was totally inspired!

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

The insight I gained from this experience is to trust my spirit. I am a magnificent and creative being and happy to be alive on this colorful and fun planet!

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

Being focussed on an intention with my spirit guiding me was the most important thing about this experience.
