What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
I Loved the idea of connecting with so many Souls and intentionally Co-Creating Art together! I had been struggling a bit with my creative process (or thought I was) recently and the timing was Divine as always!
How would you describe your creative process?
A mess! LOL I realised right away I had no supplies! I normally do stained glass but I was determined to find something to work with so I just kept asking for guidance. I put some music on and jumped into the flow. Next thing I knew I found a paper sack and a little while later remembered some fabric scraps I had. After digging through boxes to find them I spent hours connecting with the fabric, finding the right pieces to fit together. As I saw the Spirit Animals start to appear in the designs I knew I was on the right track!
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
I learned to trust the process. I typically wait until I see a design clearly in my minds eye or dream it before I start on it. I literally had no idea what this piece would be but it turned into a very personal energetic healing tool. I chose my pelvis as I have experienced excruciating pelvic pain for the last 10 years and my Healing Hands. I was reminded that sometimes we need a “proxy” when healing ourselves and this will serve well! The Spirit Animals that appeared in the designs give me Strength, Joy and are a Beautiful confirmation of my path. As We Heal Ourselves, We Heal the World <3
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
Just do it. It doesn’t matter if you think you are an artist or not…you have something to express. I almost didn’t participate because I do not consider myself an “artist” but I’m SO glad I did!! Allow yourself the release and you may be surprised at what emerges. We are Co-Creators and as we discover ourselves through our process, we bring more of our Light into the World. We see the Beauty that others do not. We are the Dreamers, the Visionairies…let Us continue to Co-Create a Beautiful World <3 Thank you so much for this Wonderful Experience!
