What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
I am at a time in my life where there are lots of changes and healing taking place. With all that energy mixing things up I felt I needed something to help me better connect with my inner self. The Soul Art journey works really well for that, and I am really glad I participated.
How would you describe your creative process?
My creative process is very intuitive. I very rarely come to the canvas with an idea in mind, or if I have one it is only a partial one. Through the use of my intuition I then put paint to the canvas, listening for what to do next. After some time an image comes forth, and that is when my technical side adds input. The two sides then work together until the piece is finished.
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
There is order in chaos, and chaos in order. Trying to make sense of everything and put it in a neat, little box will only continue adding stress to my life. If I want to better connect with myself and the world around me then I need to be willing to get a little messy.
