Eva Maria Hunt's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

A year ago I have started an internal martial art called Bagua to help aligning my physical body through movement and meditation with my purpose and the Universe. During that journey my creativity started blossoming. I experimented with different media, and I feel drawing and painting is a fantastic way of expressing myself and getting to know more about my purpose. I have found your website some weeks ago, and it really inspired me to challenge myself. Thank you.

How would you describe your creative process?

I have started with body mapping, choosing parts that I like (hands, because I can create anything I put my mind to with them and I also use them for healing others) and don’t like (my fat tummy). Then I followed your directions of choosing 5 topics: nature, healing, creativity, travel, meditation. Then I cut out the pictures and chose the ones I loved and the following words came out of it: passion, energy, magic, tranquillity, Universe. I wrote my story with the title of: The Universe and The New Me. After re-reading my story I started placing different pictures at different part of my body map, and it started an inner journey. I had great fun of expressing my inner feelings. I used the hands to bring positivity and healing to my tummy, which I don’t like. One hand is connected to Heaven and helping me to channel messages and guidance from the angels, the other is connected to Earth and helping me to bring healing to myself and my clients through crystals, through the chakras (energy healing) and through love. When I was happy with what I saw, I stuck the pieces on the paper and used soft pastel to bring it all together.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

Keep doing what you are doing: service, healing, expressing yourself in different ways, but focus more on yourself to heal your issues, love yourself more and hear the guidance more clearly.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

It was an amazing few hours. I had lots of fun, and felt this process was healing me. I did surprise myself with the result, I do love my art and very positive energy is radiating off it. Thank you so much, Laura for giving me the opportunity to connect with my inner self and my guides.
