What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

I have done International Soul Art Day, every year for the past three years. Every year I gain more insight. This year it was a perfect time, as I had been feeling stuck and not sure what the root of the problem was.

How would you describe your creative process?

My creative process is very spiritual. I do a spiritual bathing, and prayer. The Intention of my soul art is written in the form of a prayer as well. Seeking guidance from God and asking for insight to what ever my intention is. From there I let my intuition take over. I work in a very organic way and don’t put much thought or analysis into it. When I do this, concepts come to me naturally. I get stuck, or feel stuck, once I starting thinking too much. This usually happens almost towards the end. So I take a break, take time, pray, think, or do research on what my thoughts are about, and then come back to the art piece.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

This year I learned that there is an open space or lack of connection between my upper and lower chakras. My lower chakras have low energy because they are rarely engaged. I spend most of my time engaged in my upper chakras. I believe this is why I have been feeling stuck and unsure about the next phase in journey as a creative, spiritual entrepreneur. Unsure of how to connect with others. So I have learned that I need to focus on my heart chakra more in order to bridge the lower and upper , and intentionally engage in my lower chakras on a regular, possibly daily basis.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

Soul Art is a meaningful experience. It does not have to be done only once a year. I do soul art on a regular basis because it is a visualization technique that allows me to not only seek guidance, but also express myself creatively, and use that art piece as an inspiration board or motivation until I have completed that process.
