Suzana's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

This is the 3rd time I’ve joined in a Soul Art Journey with Laura. On this occasion, I was inspired to seek clarity, empowerment and serenity about the transitions occuring in major areas of my professional and personal life. Although I have been clear about my dreams and direction, there has been a lot of shifting sand beneath my feet and I have often felt disconnected, disempowered and disorientated.

How would you describe your creative process?

As a contemplative artist and teacher, my own creative process is based on a combination of contemplative practices and creative expression. During this Soul Art Journey, I enjoyed being immersed in a whole day of structured creative meditation and the gentle connection with so many other Soul Artists around the world. Although I resisted them at first, even the interuptions required by daily living (including hanging out the seemingly-endless loads of washing) allowed time, space and movement for insights to flow.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

The insights I received from my Soul Art were crystal-clear clarity about my Soul Purpose, and insights into practical ways to step into my own power in order to share my unique gifts in ways that serve both myself and others. With my soul, heart and body re-aligned, I regained the sense of serenity required to truly embody my purpose and to integrate it into the multi-layered web of my life.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

Whatever we choose to call it, creative contemplation is more than just a fun, colourful, mystical experience. It’s good medicine for your body, heart, mind, energy and spirit. Even when you have to stop for a while to hang out your laundry.

Thank you, Laura for creating and facilitating Soul Art Day!
