Sheri's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

An email from Laura intrigued me. I’m currently on a journey trying to find my true life’s purpose and figuring out how my purpose ties into my career (or not). Along the way I’ve conscientiously tried various outlets to spark my creativity. The Soul Art journey was a great exercise to find guidance.

How would you describe your creative process?

In the beginning, it was intimidating and daunting. I had mountains of self-doubt and skepticism starting with not believing in my creative talents all the way to doubting I had the appropriate materials to participate. Once I committed to the process I started scavenging thru my trash to find discarded magazines and pawing through my scrapbooking materials for markers, crayons and glue. Once I put everything in front of me I diligently followed the process and it all came together quite easily and naturally.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

Surprisingly enough there were many insights I received! Some of them: I’m not alone. I’m being guided by God, angels & spiritual guides even when I I “feel” lost. I should TRUST my intuition to know the Right Steps for Me. I need to realize I’m not going to find one simple true purpose for my life. I’m on the right track. I need to keep the faith & TRUST in myself, God & the Universe. Stop fearing, panicking and have FUN along the way. Don’t forget to do what you need to do to recharge yourself & re-energize yourself along the way. Although a task/problem/situation may seem daunting, step back, persist and put all the pieces together. I have a gift to organize and see the big picture.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

You can learn a lot about yourself from this journey and the Soul Art process even if you’re not an artist.
