Amethyst Wyldfyre's Soul Art

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

I love to take time to explore creatively and when Laura invited me to partner in this project it was an IMMEDIATE YES! for me. Soul Art is so powerful at helping me to reveal to myself what I need to see in order to make the changes in my life that my soul is ready to have happen. I love Laura Hollick and I love Soul Art!

How would you describe your creative process?

I am on a partial sabbatical in the lakes region of NH right now and my soul art journey started with asking my mom who lives here to trace me in “Child’s Pose” on a big piece of white paper. It was interesting to have my mom be the one who traced me! Yesterday I made a complete circuit around Lake Winnepesaukee (Smile of the Great Spirit) and visited the camp where I spent my summers during my childhood – it was a place where I had my first experiences with being deeply connected to nature but also the scene of many emotionally as well as spiritually traumatizing events. This morning I awoke from a medicine dream where I received a lot of information that has been translated into my piece of soul art work. I spent a good part of the day working on my piece and gaining insights.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

The name of this piece of art is: “Mindlessly Bowing to the Multicolored Grid/God of Technology To Avoid the Pain of a Broken Heart While Kneeling in the Green Grass of the Mother’s Love. The insight I received was that it’s time for me to unplug from the grid for a while – to engage in heart healing work and to spend time with the Mother ( both my physical mother as well as the Earth Mother/Mother Nature) so that I can come back in to right relationship with myself and my soul.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

Once again my soul art journey was an amazing opportunity to crystallize in LIVING COLOR exactly what my soul is trying to get across to me. I really loved that I was part of a global community all sharing this experience as well and I’m looking forward to seeing the other soul expressions from around the world!
