DeAnn deGruijter, Outward & Inward from Canada

DeAnn deGruijter bio photoWhat Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

A long admiration of the Soul Art process and a need to rebalance myself.

How would you describe your creative process?

My process was a complete (and uncomfortable) surrender to what needed to emerge without muscling or losing sight of process. It was a time of working with my materials then meditating on what was calling me to do next. To add, to embellish, to smudge, to crush, to release.
I would describe it as a process that was led from a higher level of myself.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

My vulnerability is my strength.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

The most important aspect of my journey was giving myself permission to take time, walk away, and wait for guidance.
I get impatient. This was deeply satisfying and restorative.
