Tayanna bio photoWhat Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

My soul really craves this avenue of expression, and deeply resonates with the artists facilitating creative movement in this way.

How would you describe your creative process?

My creative process is really about intention. The intention to connect on a deep heart level and allow the feeling to inform what happens on the canvas. Following the feeling I let go of thinking as much as possible and let my soul reveal what is most alive for me in this moment.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

This was a deeply personal painting experience for me. I had received news the same day that my family was suddenly experiencing a dramatic challenge. Though I couldn’t be with them in person I felt so much healing love and compassion flowing for all of them in the situation. I just wanted to paint and let my soul move the energy in color. It happened in a beautiful and peaceful way. When the painting was done I counted the light elements in the painting, and much to my surprise there were eight. I know this represents my family as I was one of six children. The overall peace and fluidity of this painting reminds me that despite how it may look on the surface, all truly is well in the big picture.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

A powerful life lesson is to follow the truth of the heart. My experience of Soul Art Day, through the creation of this painting, clearly affirmed that this is what’s happening and most importantly that I can trust this. I am so grateful for this beautiful day.
