Maureen Cox bio photoWhat Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

I have been putting a lot of my creativity into my cooking for awhile now and have been wanting to get back into making more art. A couple of years ago my friend Linda Lalande and I did Soul Art day together but I never finished the 3 artworks I started that day. This year I decided to really commit myself, my time allow some room for my muse creativity to flow and more importantly to follow thru on my creation.

How would you describe your creative process?

I work spontaneously don’t usually start with a plan but it always seems to evolve. I work better without having any expectation on the outcome but just allow the flow to come thru.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

I am me, there is no other me in the world and what comes thru me is of value to the world. I felt really connected with magical earth energy this year.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

That I enjoyed the whole process the preparation, the opening up to the earth elements, the joy I felt in being part of the Soul Art Family and finally the sense of completion. Actually my piece needs some coatings and matte medium to be truly finished but the imagery is finished. Thank you Laura for putting all of this out there for us to play with.
