Stede Barber bio photoWhat Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

I’ve been doing Soul Art since 2012; it’s a language and experience I love. Laura is so full of joy and wisdom, and joining so many beautiful creative spirits for this day is powerful!

How would you describe your creative process?

Very steady, even when it doesn’t look like I’m doing much, my process is flowing. I often prepare in small steps, and by the time I present myself to the actual soul art experience, it all just flows. I am patient with my process too. Often, I complete one aspect and then need to let it settle in before the next aspect is ready to emerge. It’s a rhythm of listening, following, doing, listening…What you can’t see under the colors of this piece is a tracing of the front of my body that looks like a beautiful landscape, resting under the colors, a horizon line extending from one side to the other…there’s a sense of the infinite

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

I am currently swimming in a sea of possibilities…in an ocean of love and nurturance. Just let it flow, let myself be, be patient and allow my self and my next steps to emerge naturally. Take in the richness all around me and let myself be healed and restored and strengthened. Enjoy myself and this epic stage I’m in…

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

Trust is a key message; trust my life exactly as it is right now. Trust the Soul Art Process to be perfect for me and all I share it with. Trust the Universe. Trust myself. and Enjoy. Be present and enjoy, allow, let go. The richness is within me and is rising.
