Aviva Gold’s Bio
Aviva Gold, Art Medicine Woman, facilitates inspired art for over 30 years and leads Painting From the Source workshops and Trainings in the US and Internationally in such Centers as Omega, Esalen, Kripalu and Findhorn. She is a mother of three sons, has background in Psychoanalytic, Jungian and Gestalt psychotherapy, plus artist, author and spiritual seeker. Aviva believes the process by which art is made is similar to the evolutionary process of creation in the universe and the capacity to create, is part of the Divinity of being human. Aviva Gold received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Art Education from Syracuse University, her Masters in Painting and Masters in Art Therapy from Partt Institute, and her Masters in Social Work from Adelphi University, in NY. She practiced Psychotherapy as a licensed professional in New York State for over 30 years. Her first book, “Painting From The Source: Awakening The Artists Soul In Everyone” was published in by Harper Collins in 1998 shortly after the production of her Video of the same title.
