What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
I had such an incredible experience in last year’s International Soul Art Day…the art I created has really resonated for me throughout the year. Without even consciously working on it, when I looked at last year’s Intention before embarking on this new Soul Art journey, I realized I had actualized it. So I am looking forward to what this new journey will bring.
How would you describe your creative process?
It’s interesting, at first I had trouble tuning in—I kept second-guessing myself. So I affirmed my Intention of “I creatively express myself & trust myself in all that I do!” and cleared anything that didn’t allow me to trust myself.
My heart tracing I originally saw as a pool of dark blue but my hand had reached for the gold & started applying it & I had to clear any expectations & projections, then chose to let the initial image go & flow with what my hands were already creating. It wasn’t until later than I realized 1) heart of gold & 2) it doesn’t have to be dark/hard any longer.
It’s when I acknowledged the aliveness of everything by adding the smiling faces that it all began to flow & grow. Truly each piece wasn’t complete—faceless—until I added the smiling faces.
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
I received so many insights!! The main one was: I perceive the seen & unseen & am aware of multiple realities simultaneously.
Also: As the creator of my life I’m first amongst equals. Ask: “What would I like here?” & know the universe & all its aspects & beings are ready to play with me too.
If I lie to myself that I’m not doing what I’m doing, it keeps me in a mind loop/brain fog & repeating what I’ve already done. Instead keep trusting & expressing myself more & more & I can open & expand like a blossoming spiral that can morph into anything I choose.
I have a heart of gold & life doesn’t have to be dark or hard any longer.
I’m so brilliant, so awesome, so aware. In my Soul Art I can see my inner awarenesses in a way I can enjoy & play with further.
Freedom to be me, all of me, unabashedly & with play & fun unleashed!
An acknowledgment I’m in play with all the elements of the universe & can choose my playmates & creation-mates with fun & joy
Trust myself. I know. I’m aware.
I’m a creative powerhouse!
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
I see such an explosion of joy, play, delight and energy that came from a deep dive through the workbook and Soul Art process, emerging organically and in an interplay layer by layer, just as my interaction with multiple realms occurs. It’s both an affirmation of who I be at a deep level (that I hadn’t fully acknowledged for myself before this) and an invitation to more in the months to come!
