What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
It was spontaneous, needed some art back in my life and without any ‘rules’, like just Art for my soul
How would you describe your creative process?
My process was first unclear. I just used my hand, my feet and some part of my arm to trace parts of my body and then used just the colores i had on my art table, i didn’t had a total idea. The idea and process came with the flow and i felt each time the more colores i use the more interesting it gets and learned a lot about myself, and that also the ugly/shadow parts are part of me. After a while i asked how to get my symbols and words from the journaling into the art and i started to find my way for it. First it is about being free and at the end it is all about connection and selfexpression. Due to the photo u hardly can see it but at the end i used gold to mark parts, which might also mark the wounds i had in life but those make me special.
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
My painting really told me that i should do more art, more selfexpression with art and dont be to shy and to scared, and that my wounds are my golden parts and not something i need to hide. Although the word ‘connection’ was meant for a new love, so might be my new love start with myself and to truely accept everything about me, all the wins and losses in life.
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
I felt it was a really great expierence, i felt not alone with just a feeling of doing art whatever comes to your mind, without the perfect art piece you need to achieve… I felt really welcomed, hope to see and hear about Soul Art more, plus i might do more often my own SoulArtDay now. Just to let my soul express what is going on in myself and in my life.
