What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
Soul Art Day journey has become an annual ritual. It was my 7th time participating and I love coming together and creating in Laura’s potent energetic container. I jumped into Soul Art in 2019/2020 and completed my Body Mapping Level 1 and ever since then I love to stay connected to the Soul Art Community to feel inspired and to celebrate others along their own journeys.
How would you describe your creative process?
For this Soul Art Day, my creative process began with sitting outside in my backyard with the blooming tree and flowers, soaking in the sunshine. I tapped into what messages I needed to hear most and allowed them to flow through onto the paper first. Each time I create it is different. Often inspiration and ideas come through in dream time and I doodle or write down these flashes of inspiration to later work on them and bring them through.
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
My Soul Art Piece told me to celebrate my sensuality and that the thread of my work is connected to pleasure, enjoyment and playfulness in a luxurious way. And by weaving beauty into everything I do it will bring me and others pleasure also.
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
I love that this year I used fabric to create my piece. It was fun to work with this medium which takes me back to my fashion roots. I loved the pliability and the colours and adding other elements like the yarn, rose, and crystal felt like I was building a multi-dimensional collage like energetic signature of sorts. Like a snapshot of what energy I am magnetizing.
