What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
I was drawn to Soul Art Day as a gentle invitation to connect with my creativity in a way that honours my energy and body’s limits. Living with Long Covid and ME/CFS, it can be hard to find accessible ways to express myself fully — Soul Art offered a sacred space to do so without pressure, while staying connected to spirit and the wisdom of my body.
How would you describe your creative process?
Slow, intuitive, and embodied. I listen deeply — to my breath, to sensations, to subtle whispers within. I pace everything to match my energy and often rest between layers. This time, my chest appeared first — open and radiating — followed by my feet, which I physically traced in my sketchbook. It felt powerful and unexpected, as if my body was anchoring something greater.
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
The message was clear: I am aligning. Aligning with my true path of wisdom, healing, and love. My feet — so big and grounded — reminded me that I am supported. That I can trust this path, even when it’s slow. My piece showed me that presence is enough, and that creativity doesn’t need to be fast or finished to be meaningful.
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
Even with limited physical capacity, I can still create from a place of depth and truth. This process reminded me that art is not about output — it’s about embodiment and connection. Soul Art Day allowed me to show up exactly as I am, and that in itself was deeply healing.
