What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
I sought out a creative outlet to reconnect with my artistic self as a means to help redirect my focus away from my anxiety. I typically view my world through a unique lens but over the past couple years, I have lost sight of myself. I came across a post for International Soul Art Day and thought this would be a good starting point to find my inner muse.
How would you describe your creative process?
I search my world for things to inspire me or I am given a task or challenge where I can channel my creativity. I often doodle or wander museums or nature. Most times, my creativity is spontaneous or fueled through poetry.
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
I found that doing a bit of soul searching helped me to refocus my intention. My inner self desires to create freely and without inhibition.
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
Creating Soul Art brought me to a point of creativity where I didn’t feel the need for validation during my process. I was creating with a purpose and for myself; a feeling I haven’t connected with in a long time.
