What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
My friend, Amadea Bailey, suggested I take this journey and I’m so very glad she did!
How would you describe your creative process?
My intention is to expose the areas I need to heal in order to heal; to guide me to
my purpose; to create beauty; to access God. I choose the colors I want to create with, mix them up to desired consistency, paint in one area of canvas and then just flow. Then I ask myself “what am I feeling now?”
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
I can always access creativity thru one or more doors. My art speaks to me saying “look at this…calm down…go over here… consider this or that..don’t be afraid of going deeper here…try something new…why not this?….you can’t fail…you can always gesso over that….surprise yourself…try again…” I choose certain colors….blues, purples, fuschia, black, white….because they elevate my mood. I choose certain shapes because they express what I’m feeling and what’s most important to me, the doors I travel thru, to share with others.
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
First of all, gratitude! Thank you so much for presenting this awesome experience! Secondly, don’t judge yourself or your art! Just take this Soul Journey…because wherever you are now in your art, you and your art will go so much further during and after this wonderful experience. Happy Trails!
