What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

I was telling my husband, that for me, “Soul Art Day” is like a special Holiday, (almost like Christmas, or something)…. And I had missed the last one (2019) … So when I heard that it was happening this year, I was SO excited…….
And on a personal note, I have been in a constant state of feeling extremely overwhelmed, interrupted, and stifled, for decades, and lately it’s been feeling like I am about to blow (like a volcanic eruption )…. I needed help in “Decluttering my whole life”…. (my physical space, my mind, my body)…. So I needed to learn how to make lasting changes….

How would you describe your creative process?

This creation was so much fun and it took on a life of it’s own….telling me what it wanted me to do next… fold here, add something there, etc….. it was so intuitive…. and I was amazed at the transformation it underwent….. it was so easy and the day went so fast!
It started out being complicated, and was going to take a long time to complete, but each new fold or addition, made it less and less complicated, making the focus clearer and the quality better.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

Live the moment, Let go of the unnecessary, simplify, and “just start”.

It would seem that most of the time, “Simpler” and “less” is better. (Coming from a hoarder (self diagnosed), and someone who loves details and elaborate things…. that’s saying something).

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

I’ve been needing “Drastic changes” lately….. one of the things I did recently was to get my hair cut very short. (That’s a big deal to me, because I’ve always had it very very long)…. I haven’t regretted it yet…. and my hair is so “easy” now…. and I am craving more of that “Ease” , light heartedness and “Free” feeling….. I need “Space” to grow and “be” … (as opposed to the heavy, hard to breath, overwhelmed, and stifling feeling that leads to poor health both mentally and physically). I keep feeling that “It’s time”….. and this soul art journey has helped me to realize that I have the power to make the changes I desire within myself…. and that Change doesn’t have to be scary or uncomfortable …. in fact, it CAN be very uplifting, beautiful, exciting, and beneficial. …. and I think learning more about “Living the Moment” will help me in many ways too. And letting go, doesn’t have to be a negative thing, either….. letting go, can make room for so much good and health to come in, to replace the blocks, and the “impossible” ways things are….. (sorry, I’m rambling and probably not making sense to anyone but myself).
