What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

I was inspired to trying the Soul Art Journey because it reminded me of my favorite Artist Shiloh Sophia and her website, and I really love the idea off just freeing yourself to create the uniqueness that is your art. Allowing myself to be truely free when in my creative zone is something I need to work on and encourage a lot more often in myself.

How would you describe your creative process?

My creative process is definitely not complicated. At times I start out having a set idea off what I want….. that doesn’t mean it always ends up looking like what I first imagined it to be, but I always seem to love the finished piece. At Other times I work from a feeling or sentence from a poem. I love that a feeling or a single word can inspire me

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

I learned even my doodles are beautiful art. I really wanted to paticipate in Soul Art Day but I really didn’t have that much time before it would end. So when I rushed in from work, I grabbed some markers, colored ink pens and gel pens and loged on to see what everyone was doing… I didn’t any giant paper but I did have my art journal and the cover was definitely in need off something! And wa’ la’… my first Soul Art was born!

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

The most important experience I had during my short but enjoyable Soul Art play was realizing just how much fun I was having just coloring and going with the flow and not worrying about whether it was as good as anyone else\’s or even if it was good enough. It really is very important to turn off that little inner critic and just enjoy the process and natural flow off what you\’re doing a that moment… you just might be amazed with what you come up with!
