What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
I have just recently been introduced to intuitive art and love it. I have a degree in Art Education and did some coursework in Art Therapy but then went on to years of work in various healing modalities meditation, mindfulness, EFT, shamanic work and more. I taught children these life skills using creativity and art for more than a decade, now I find myself at a new threshold with art again, this was a perfect fit.
How would you describe your creative process?
My creative process now is getting in touch with my heart, listening, usually through meditation and journaling, to what’s going on deep inside beyond my thoughts. That’s what I tap into now when I create, whatever colors, images, messages come forth, like creating my own oracle for that moment,
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
Loved the whole process. Doing the journal pages combining the writing and drawing, symbols and words was amazing. My interests were creativity, healing and storytelling which led to my words essence, forgiveness and compassion which then streamed My true essence is hiding behind the lack of forgiveness I have for myself that can be healed through compassion. Beautiful insights that led to this painting.
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
Art can be such an amazing healing source and insight to what is going on in the soul. Soul Art not only taps into those insights but then goes beyond that by supporting you on your journey to healing in an energetic group connection allowing one to be supported and encouraged to explore and express these deep insightful shadows and messages through ones choice of media and creativity. It is a beautiful flowing expression of ones true essence.
