What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
I was inspired to do the Soul Art journey through the watching of your film on what you were going to where for the day. I loved to see the thought that went into it and inspired me to consider something that was important to me.
How would you describe your creative process?
My creative process involves being open and feeling what is important to me in the moment. It relies on my intuition and takes inspiration from the beauty of my surroundings. I wanted to feel what was going to be important to me for the year ahead and be able to express this through my creative process.
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
I had wanted to paint something large but somehow that was not what expressed itself. My desire was to be open and flowers and butterflies in a spiral were what transpired. It took sometime for me to find out the many layers of meaning that had expressed themselves through my painting. The flowers were all geraniums which comes from crane which the Japanese see as the bird of happiness. The butterflies were Monarch butterflies which is a sign from your guardian angel to show that you are on the right path and that you are being guided and protected along your journey. So for me the meaning and insight was the interconnectedness of all things and the importance of caring for our planet. That I need to be open to new things and be ready for the change and transformation in my life through my creativity and by becoming more open and in tune to what wants or needs to express itself in my life. It is through my creative process that my soul is able to become more fully alive,
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
My art, my creativity and dance are my passion on which my life and being is dependant. I love the joy that is expanding in my heart and I am growing in my ability to express myself more fully through my art.
